How Epoxy Flooring Reading Works
Epoxy Flooring Reading coats concrete floors in Reading and the towns around it in Berks County. We do garage floors, rowhouse and twin basements, flake and metallic finishes, shop and warehouse floors, and the crack and surface repair that has to happen before any of those can go down.
Reading's concrete is old. Most of the city's homes went up before 1940, and a lot of the floors we see have been patched, painted, flooded or sealed more than once. That history decides what a floor needs. We look at the slab first and choose the system after.
What working with us looks like
- We come out, measure the floor, check it for moisture and look for old paint, sealers, oil and cracks.
- You get a written quote that names the system, the prep, each repair, each coat and the total.
- We grind the concrete with diamond tooling and collect the dust, so the coating bonds to sound, open concrete.
- Cracks, spalls, pitting and low spots are repaired before the first coat.
- We tell you when you can walk on the floor, move things back and drive on it, based on the product and the temperature that day.
- If we find something that changes the scope, we write it up and you approve it before we do it.
We work on concrete only. We do not coat wood, tile or vinyl. If a slab has an active leak, is still settling, or sits over a problem a coating cannot fix, we tell you before you spend money on it.
